Food is medicine.
Look, I know that it's challenging to talk about food. Food is personal. It's spiritual. It's connected to so much of what makes up who we are. This is why I strive to create a space free of judgement where you can feel heard. Ultimately, I want you to understand how your body works, what's stressing your body and what you can draw in to support and heal your body. Then you get to make choices. Before I became a nutritional therapy practitioner, I was navigating my own mental illness. Everything was hard. I had some fun navigating Lyme disease and other chronic health issues that I was normalizing. I started seeing a naturopathic doctor and began learning about the bodies incredible capacity to heal itself. I don't eat a 'perfect diet' and I don't expect you to either.
I believe in bio-individuality. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. If there were, everyone would be using them and I wouldn't have a job.
I utilize my background studying nutrition, herbs, anatomy, physiology and Chinese medicine to curate an approach that feels attainable and nourishing to you. Based on your needs, we'll form a plan that navigates your individual thresholds. I'm ultimately focused on helping you be kind to yourself as you make transitions.

"I’ve experienced significant health improvements while working with Nikki’s holistic insight over the last several years. One of the many areas of improvements has been with my sleep, which had been an issue for me as far back as I can remember. She always takes the time to really understand and listen to what is going on with me, and has a great ability to explain complicated information in a way that is easy to follow and implement." - Charlie
